Refunds & Cancellations

We understand that travel plans can change unexpectedly, and we strive to offer flexibility while ensuring a smooth experience for all travelers. Please read our refund and cancellation policy carefully to understand your options.

• Non-Refundable Deposit: All deposit payments are non-refundable but may be transferred to another LitReise trip of your choice. This deposit secures your spot on the trip and contributes to the total cost.

• Cancellation and Refund Policy:

The amount of your refund or credit will depend on when you cancel your trip:

• More than 6 months before departure: You are eligible for a full refund of your payments, excluding the non-refundable deposit.

• Between 6 months and 90 days before departure: You may transfer your full balance to a future LitReise trip.

• Between 60 and 90 days before departure: You can transfer your balance to a future trip, but a 30% cancellation fee will be deducted from the total paid (excluding the deposit). The remaining 70% will be credited towards a future trip.

• Between 30 and 60 days before departure: You may transfer 50% of your total trip payment (excluding the deposit) as a credit towards a future trip. The remaining 50% is non-refundable.

• Less than 30 days before departure: No refunds or credits will be issued. The cancellation fee will be equal to the full trip value.

• Sold-Out Trips: If a trip has sold out, refunds are not available. However, a portion of your payment may be transferred as a credit towards a future LitReise trip, subject to availability.

• Refund Processing: Please allow up to 30 days for your refund to be processed.
